Pastor Gustav Briegleb was one of the first radio evangelist in the world history. He was a minister in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. The pastor took an active role in the investigation of many high-profile crimes committed in Los Angeles in the 1920s and 1930s. He was able to help Christine Collins be released from a mental hospital after she was committed there in retaliation for disagreeing with the Los Angeles Police Department’s version of events. Pastor Gustav Briegleb was a faithful minister of the Church of Christ until the end of his life.
